Ogmore beach is a long (2.5 km), wide, pretty, sandy bay backed by an extensive system of sand dunes.
Access only from either end
- from the west (Porthcawl), park by Newton point.
- from the south (Ogmore-by-Sea), cross the Ogmore river on foot at low tide only
