Drive, or train to Brighton
Can walk from the Marina at one end, all along the promenade, past Brighton (Pavillion, pier, pubs, The Lanes) to Hove.
Beyond Hove is a port, but you can still walk (a long way) along the pebbles to a cafe. There is a bridge over the harbour towards Shoreham station.
